Plenty of people don’t know how to work a stop sign.
There are stop signs in the city??
Drivers in this city cannot follow basic driving etiquette when the lights are working… I get it, entirely frustrating.
There were lights out all down St. Paul too, at least three-four intersections- I was on my bike at rush hour.
Oof. I would not have wanted to navigate that on bike. Glad you got through safely!
It’s not a four way unless the lights are completely out. If they’re flashing, one side will be yellow and the other side red.
This city has trouble with "red means stop" I can't imagine us navigating a 4 way stop.
4 way stop?
That mean I go first, amirite?
No, the most important person goes first. So, me.
Oh it’s based on your value as a human? In that case I’ll let everyone else go first.
It’s important to be kind.
The guy behind me can go around if he really wants.
Greenmount?
Turned off of Greenmount onto 29th and hit a string of lights that were out and everyone was just gunning it through intersections
Yes, I hit that today too
usually what you see is "the big road doesn't have to slow down"
Great example of how we need to break the spirit of the folks who drive in Baltimore. The sense of entitlement must be palpable in the kind of person who won't even slow down at an intersection with a non-functional traffic light.
Also great example, of how poorly maintained our infrastructure is. I get the feeling that other cities aren't plagued by constantly failing traffic lights.

Far be it from me to defend Baltimore drivers, but IME, when all the lights are out, it’s easy to not realize they’re there in the first place.

Bold of you to assume people know how to work a 4 way stop
