Looking for a place with happy hour oysters under 2 dollars a piece that may give us the option for either raw or cooked oysters. Have a group that’s new to oysters we want a place that can get cooked ones cheap too. Any suggestions outside the city or even inside
Are cooked oysters included in the 1.50?
Definitely not... Expect to pay $16-$18 for fried/grilled oysters (we live in an absolutely cursed time).

Dylan’s oyster cellar, True Chesapeake oyster co, the local Oyster are all good places to start
Dylan's is great but they aren't cheap.

Yeah, Dylan's is great but they've had only one oyster happy hour in the years I've lived here, and it was because they over ordered take home oysters for Father's Day (last year)... At least that's what I recall Dylan saying.
Regardless, you get what you pay for there. Some of the best oysters you'll ever eat from all over North America.
I think I'm in the minority but, man, that place is so overrated.

Dylan’s. I’ve been. I’ve had good meals, and great oysters. The bar service far outweighs the table service, which is where the problem starts. If I go to a place named and known for its oyster service, I expect the same knowledge and service at a table that I get at the bar. Not the case there. It’s just too much $$ for what it is. At the end of your visit you’re not paying less than you would at somewhere like TSOH and the service and knowledge you get there is far, FAR superior to that of Dylans.
Agree 100%. And yes, Dylan's is psychotically overpriced (which is becoming a deeply concerning trend across the city btw, with every other establishment raising prices far above the inflation rate).
Conrad’s is a good option, you can carry out of eat in depending which location you go to.
Local Oyster has a good happy hour!

Mo’s Seafood on eastern Ave. $7/half dozen.
Might be out of your way and not a tradional happy hour, but Jensens in Catonsville has $1 oysters all day Sunday.
