It also just feels really tight. narrow aisles make the lines a bit awkward

Could be a marketing thing. narrow isles might make it seem more crowded and a place to be like Reading Terminal Market in philly.

tbf if the old lexington market was half as nice as reading terminal it probably wouldn't have been revamped.

Meh idk about that it was mostly about cooking off the area and simply showing that the city cares enough. The inside was def half as nice as redoing terminal but the outside became untenable.
