Are you offering to get rid of it yourself? I have an elderly family member in Lutherville with a lot of bamboo

If you go here on the Stony Run Trail there is a huge stand of it. It’s an invasive species so you can remove as much as you want, if you can haul it out of there.

I was hoping you were from the National Zoo and were going to announce that they'd start renting out their pandas to clear bamboo the same way goats are used to clear weeds.

That house where the clown who led police on a two day manhunt lives in Cockeysville has a huge stand of bamboo.

I have a contract coming up to remove a bunch of bamboo. I'm getting paid so would be pretty accepting of someone doing some part of the work for free. I used to cut it myself to make flutes but this is a big patch encroaching a building and I'm doing it as a 'landscaper' for a close friend.

There's bamboo growing on part of the Short Line Trail in Catonsville. I'd reach out to Catonsville Rails to Trails to see if they want some of it cleared. I remember they did some clearing of it a few years ago, but of course it's grown back. They are always looking for volunteers to help with trail maintenance, so this could be a mutually beneficial partnership.
