I’m in NE Baltimore but my husband and I have noticed that since the E. coli issue a few weeks ago (which allegedly didn’t affect us), our water seems to have much more chlorine in it. We sort of figured they were just over compensating but I would love an actual explanation if anyone has one!

if my memory is correct, 'tis the season for the line cleaning (increased chlorine/chloramine) to start. i've seen a few hydrants open for flushing so i'd assume that's what's going on.

In Canton and haven’t really noticed. We do filter our water before drinking, but not for any other use.
