If you enjoy Mexican food, be sure to check out Clavel, just down the street. It’s quite good.

Ooo, we do like Mexican food. I didn't want to be the tourist asking for the food spots, but glad I got a recommendation.

No shame in getting recommendations! I happen to work a block away from Ottobar so I couldn’t help but chime in (despite not commenting on hotels). Anyhoo, there’s good stuff nearby; Ibar for wings, Jong Kak for Korean Bbq, Joe Squared for pizza, Royal Blue for elevated pub fare, 29th St Tavern for classic pub fare, R House for lot’s of choices under one roof. Have fun visiting Bmore!

Yeah I'd definitely wanna hit a solid pizza joint for sure. Thank you so much!

Cool. Either Joe Squared or Paulie Gee’s for pizza. Paulie Gee’s is in a neighborhood called Hampden, which is fun and walkable with numerous bars, shops and restaurants.

JBGB across the street from Ottobar does pizza too. I can’t speak to the quality but if you’re looking to keep things within walking distance it’s right there.

It's good pizza, at least it has been in my experience. Nicely fermented sourdough crust. Basically across the street from Ottobar.
