Thankfully, no one was hurt.

We added concrete barriers to the work zone to protect the site, and to keep drivers and our workers safe.

When you see CONSTRUCTION, for everyone's sake, please SLOW DOWN.

I live near this intersection, and the number of drivers who have turned up Charles St (and then drove the wrong way to get back out) despite the road closure sign has been simply astounding. Probably as many as 20 cars per hour at some times of day.

Poor signage and lane markings aren't helping. It also feels like some projects just get abandoned (I'm looking at you, 395 to 95S "lane shift").

So far this month there have been 6 highway construction workers killed by a 695 driver, one tanker truck fire on 795, and an explosion at Baltimore's Back River wastewater treatment plant. Sometimes it feels like the wheels fall off all at once.

It's horrific. We just saw the names of the workers on 695, and there appears that a father and son were working together. 😰

Once I had a person stop in my lane closure on I-95 to ask for directions. It took a lot of strength not to give them a frontal lobotomy with my awl.

I used to work on the sides of highways and roads, and had no qualms cussing out any moron who did this to me. My safety isn’t worth some moron’s precious feelings.

Can anything be done about westbound Druid Park Lake Drive? Seems like a recipe for disaster with the incomplete closure of the intersection with Linden. Either needs to be reopened with the traffic signal restored or fully closed with concrete barricades. u/BmoreCityDOT
