Put the cats litter box outside at the door so he can smell it and know that's home.

I really hope you find her! Was going to recommend you post in the Lost and Found Pets FB group but then realized I already saw her in there. Sure she's just living the free life for a bit and will be back!

Yeah. My friend's been posting everywhere on FB and telling like 80% everyone she meets.

I'm in Fed but occasionally around the fields near Fells for work at night so I'll keep an eye out!

How recent was this? I think I saw a cat posted by the spca that looked similar a few days ago

Ahh. This one has been with a foster since 3/9 so probably a different one. Best of luck!

Yeah. She said she found another that looked very similar but was in a shelter since feb. Was pretty pissed when they told her.

Nebelung cats are medium-length gray hairs with hazel eyes, and it can be frustrating trying to tell them apart. Aside from the occasional white patches and minor face-shape variations, they look remarkably similar. They often have similar, almost dog-like, demeanors.

Definitely still worth reporting to OP though.

Please check BARCS website for cat and report her to them so they can keep an eye out. There is information on their website about what to do: www.BARCS.org

cannedwings OP t1_jdtkjd6 wrote

I believe that's already done, but I'll check.

They post strays as they come in- so they should check the site every day. I hope your friend finds their cat- I would be a mess if one of mine got out.

If she gets picked up in the city she would go to BARCS, so that’s really the only shelter your friend needs to keep on top of. I’d post some signs around the neighborhood in case a neighbor picked her up and kept her. Your friend should look late at night (if it’s safe) and early in the morning, under cars and in other hiding spots. It’s not too cold fortunately. And definitely have them put some clothes, litter, and food outside. Maybe a cat bed if it’s not calling for rain. But scents that are familiar to home. I’m pretty far over by the park, but will keep my eyes peeled. Not that anyone is catching a cat that doesn’t want caught. Good luck to you and your friend, got my fingers crossed for you.

Last time he was spotted was by patterson park. He's friendly enough that a group of girls were petting him while we were putting up posters.

We can't have Havoc in the streets, get this baby home! Hopefully Havoc is nearby.

I just really, really love that the cat's name is Havoc.
