Preferably wet but dry is fine too. I have used an infrared sauna which was fine but I want the real sauna feel. I live north of Bmore but willing to drive.

Did they also have a location at Security Square?
I think that was Seoul Spa
Are they still.around?
I don't think they are at that spot anymore
Seoul Spa went out of business, sadly. I loved that place and really miss it.
I used to love the jjimjilbang at Security Square. What a weird location but it was an oasis. The Virginia one is actually better, but way busier and too damn far away. I want another Korean spa in Baltimore so bad.
My boss is Korean and told me about their style of spa, maybe this one? She also mentioned being naked the whole time???
Yes this is the Korean style of spa called jjimjilbang. You are only naked for the shower and bath, which is separated by gender. Once you go to the sauna area (co-ed), you are given clothes to wear. If you choose to go into the pools/hot tubs, you go back to your locker and change into a swimsuit.
The ymca in waverly has one if that satisfies your non-commercial bank requirement.
I prefer the sauna at my local credit union, personally
only insured up to 250k though.
how in the auto suggested god did i wind up typing that
Get a week trial at brick bodies Reisterstown. They have a large sauna. Frequently containing older Eastern European men
Back in the day there was a sauna at the Finn Hall in Greektown. This was before my time. My grandparents were active at the Finn hall and I wish it still existed

They also have dry saunas in each of the bathrooms! It’s like $30 for a day pass and there are plenty of men that go there, so you should feel comfortable. This is my favorite because it’s a great environment, but it’s not stuffy like you would expect a spa to be. It feels casual and relaxing.
Warning that they are closed for refurbishment until late March!
When I saw your post, I thought of Newark, Delaware. When you say north, like 83 north? If you are harford north, let me know. I have a few places I can recommend.
Like Towson north

Berkeley Springs
restore hyperwellness has an infared sauna and is a really nice place. If you can't find exactly what you're looking for maybe give them a try.
Nice find!
The Pearl Spa in Columbia and Indu Wellness in Hamilton
I replied this in another comment. I love the Pearl but be warned that they are closed until late March. Totally worth a visit once they finish their refurbishments though!
Yes, I think they are opening this weekend from the renovations.
The Arena Club in Bel Air (locally owned) has a sauna (I think it's a dry sauna)
The JCC in Owings Mills has a dry sauna, and the JCC in Park Heights has a steam room. It is not for profit.
Can anyone go to a JCC or do you have to be within the community?
Anyone who pays for a membership can join.
Strength and Vitality Wellness off of Falls (near the animal hospital) has an infrared sauna. Truth, Mind, and Body off of York in Hunt Valley (in the former Ojas space) also has an infrared sauna.
There are 4 Korean Spas with steam, sauna, hot tub, and more in the DC area - all in Northern Virginia. Two are in Annandale- Riverside Spa and Parkside Spa and Sauna. You heard about Spa World in Centreville. Finally, there is King Spa in Chantilly.

If you're willing drive about an hour away, there is also King Spa in Virginia. It's a Korean style sauna, so you shower, bathe, and then hang out in the various saunas, as well as the option to order food or relax in the pools and hot tubs while inside.
