Many good neighborhoods have already been mentioned (Hamilton, Hampden, Medfield, Roland Park, etc.). I'll second Charles Village (as a resident of the Abell neighborhood) and add Oakenshawe, Harwood, Tuscany-Canterbury, and Wyman Park to the list of great neighborhoods to live in.
