I am from the Deep South. My child is literally there right this moment touring apartments. They graduated in December. They did an internship over the summer. Start applying for jobs immediately. Apartments go fast. My childs employer is paying for moving expenses and etc. it depends on where you are working as to where you will live. They found this crazy map that is supposed to be pretty accurate and that’s what we have gone by and it’s worked out so far. Moving to any big city is a challenge. Get your ducks in a row. Start applying for jobs and understand the pay then you can move on from there. From what we have gathered from phone calls and pictures, they found a great area. It took weeks of full time searching. First save money and start applying.

What the crazy map you mentioned? Asking for myself--from the South, did an internship last summer, graduated in December and looking for work. Some places do offer a relocation bonus but I don't know if its worth the two year commitment.
