My dad lives in Owings Mills. He has a really nice antique oak dining table he doesn't need anymore. We tried selling it, but no luck, so he'd like to donate it to an organization that helps families in need. Does anyone have a good suggestion? It would need to be picked up.

You could try a buy nothing Facebook group. Cut out the middle man and get someone who needs it to pick it up directly from you.

Also post it here maybe. Idk the rules on that.

Habitat for Humanity Restore. Depending on what it is, they might even pick it up.

Second chance will take it. Not sure if they will pick it up. They do pick some things up but not always.

They don't help families in need directly but they are a non profit that provides jobs and training for people in need.

Can you let us know where it ends up because I am looking for a solid wood table and I love oak.

I like to donate to womens shelters but you have to take it there. Purple Heart will actually come to you.
