I second Dangerous Delicious. Both their sweet and savory pies are equally amazing. They aren’t cheap so it’s a treat but it’s soo good. Make sure to try the Baltimore bomb.

I agree DDPies are great tasting, but on the two occasions I bought Thanksgiving pies for a family meal, I was disappointed with the crust. It was tasty, better then I have ever tasted, and crusts can be bland to not edible, but these were rock hard.

Dangerously delicious pies are pretty good for meat pies. Patisserie poupon is also a solid choice

I know it’s far outside the city but Mandala Pies in Vienna and Berlin, MD are amazing if you’re making a beach trip. The Berlin location just opened.

Our current favorite in the city is Pie Time; great thin flaky crust; fruit pies are great and they have savory pies with unique flavors. Dangerously delicious is also good but I find their crust a little too thick for my liking. We also had a Mandala pie this summer and it was probably one of the best peach pies I’ve ever had.

Weber’s has great pies, amongst other tasty baked goods. The apple caramel is amazing.
