Living in Baltimore for the summer

hey y’all, two of my friends and I got internships for summer 2023 in Baltimore. we’re all going to room together and we’re already planning on things we want to do and see, places to eat, and good areas of Baltimore (or surrounding places) to live in. any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated. thank you in advance!!

This is an awesome gallery. I just wanna re emphasize Bike Party because it’s such an incredible and inclusive event. Also just start checking Facebook because I feel like there’s something awesome going on every weekend all spring, summer and fall. The city puts on so many awesome events it’s hard to keep up. Welcome to Baltimore! I hope you love it as much as I do :-)

That’s great! I don’t want to totally sugar coat the city, crime is an issue too and you do have to be aware of it. Be aware of your surroundings and know where you’re going before you explore. But despite its problems, this city is amazing IMO. I think the people here are genuine and caring and it’s a wonderful place. Cheers!

What neighborhood is the work place. Nearest cross street too will give us an idea to advise.

not exactly sure on the exact location as there are a few different ones but for now it looks like in between Pumphrey and Stoney Run for sure. southwest Baltimore.

These are outside the city but near your work: Guinness brewery, Heavy Seas brewery, G&M for great crab cakes.
