Are all the Sinclair media outlets only transmitted via cable? Are the airwaves still being used for TV transmission? I have always wondered why Baltimore has not had underground media renegades that some cities have. I think they were more active in the days of civil rights struggles and the Vietnam War era. Countering these private corporate titans takes effort. We are no longer a people who will fight injustice, instead kow to their commands. "news groups" have vilified the city for decades, keeping the suburbanites scared. The tentacles reach into Delaware & the Eastern Shore, maintain an image that this city is the source of all evil.

Renegade groups blocking TV stations? What could go wrong? Censorship is wrong whether you like the target or not

Right. I'm sure it's because of Fox 45 that suburbanites have a negative image of Baltimore, not the fact that the city currently has the same murder rate as El Salvador.

No, but it contributes to them believing that a high murder rate in certain sections of the urban core is some magical phenomenon that has no root causes and can only be solved by pumping an even higher % of our resources into police who spend 96% of their time not actually solving violent crime lol

Even if Sinclair were right about something, it's not being argued in good faith.

Baltimore is complicated and there are serious problems. But fearmongering doesn't fix them.
