I'm hosting an event for around 75 people for work. The budget is pretty small, so I'm wondering what's the cheapest place to buy beer & wine are in the area? I usually go to Wells Discount Liquor, but I'm wondering what else might be cheaper. Anywhere within 30 mins of the city would work.

You could buy a bunch of cheap wine from Trinacria. They’ve got $3-4 bottles in front of the deli case

Hunt Valley Wine & Liquor, next door to Wegmans in Baltimore Co. has good pricing

If you feel like going to Harford Co. Midway has really good pricing, out on Rt. 40.

Most places offer a case discount for both beer and wine.

Also look to see if any places offer discount days.

But honestly just call a few places and talk to them. Go online and use a calculator to get an estimate of how much you need.

Pick up some box wine or jugs and make sangria or look up some recipes for mulled or spiced wine.

Pine orchard has the cheapest wine and liquor I've found. Champagne is very cheap and scotch is very cheap.

Kings Liquors off of 40 in East Baltimore has some of the best prices around.

Pine orchard liquors, way west past Catonsville, also on 40, has some good prices as well.

This doesn't meet your distance constraint, but Costco in Delaware. You don't need a membership to buy alcohol, and there's no sales tax.
