I recently finished my film that has been playing across the country/world since earlier this spring.

The film had its Oscar qualifying theatrical run in July and will be competing in the Documentary Short subject category at this year’s Academy Awards.

As a story largely based in the East Coast, I was looking to put together a small promotional tour of the film to keep sharing the film going into this year’s Awards Season.

With this in mind, I was curious if anyone had any recommendations of affordable/accessible venues in the Baltimore area. These could be theaters, galleries, bars/restaurants, schools, DIY/community spaces, or 9/11 Memorials.

Any/all info is appreciated! Thanks.

The Parkway and the Charles Theatre were the first theatres that came to mind.

But the 2640 Space (operated by Red Emma's) and Metro Gallery could also be worth looking into.

Obligatory pour one out for the Windup Space and whatever the event space that's now Bluebird used to be called.

I'm blanking on her name right not, but I met the woman who is in....charge? Of programming at the Parkway. Definitely reach out, she would be thrilled! (So sorry I forgot your name!)

Try a local brewery! Key Brewing is showing movies outdoor so that's a good place to start.
