My family is coming to the area next week and are looking for any suggestions on things to do with the 2 kids. We will be here all day Saturday November 6th and Sunday the 7th.

We are staying in the Timonium/Cockeysville area but willing to drive for fun stuff.

Places, parks, events, or favorite restaurant recommendations are all appreciated!

There’s usually a pretty solid car show on Saturday mornings at the Wegmans on Shawan Rd. Starts around 8:00 IIRC. The NCR trail is nearby if they’re into hiking.

Walters art Museum is free and the one at johns hopkins University is as well (I think) farmers market in fells or. Check out the cathedral the George washington monument, the holocaust monument, fort mchenry, the big hill on the south of inner harbor (cant remember what its called) druid hill park, the fudgery, Edgar Allen Poe's gravesite

What are the kids interested in? Baltimore zoo is cool because you can feed the giraffes for like $5. Baltimore science center and the museum of industry both have a lot of interactive exhibits. Visionary art museum while not free would be a lot more fun for kids than the walters or the Baltimore museum of art.

Marshy Point Nature Center and Irvine Nature Center both are free and frequently have activities on weekends so check their websites. Oh and MPNC offers little explorer backpacks for kids to borrow pecked with stuff to go exploring. Just ask a ranger, which by the way, the rangers there are A+.

The fudgery has been gone for at least a decade, but relatives took me to one in a diff city much longer ago. I like your idea of Fed Hill (great for all ages) and just poking around the harbor. Maybe hop into a dragon boat for a float on the water-I would have thought they’d be done for the season, but saw them out this week.

At that age I would suggest the Visionary Art Museum and the Aquarium. I mean, they are pretty closely located and easily walkable -- and can certainly consume most of a day.

Di'Pasquale's is awesome Italian Food, two locations in B'mo, closed on Sundays. Great restaurant, they sell their food cold or frozen for later, and it's in the middle of the best Italian Grocery this side of Jersey.
