Halal Food Cart is the answer if you want to take food back to the courthouse. But there are still a good number of old favorites open- Cafe Poupon, David and Dads, Werners, are some good eat-in options. La Calle I think is open at lunch if you want to take it up a notch.

Seconding Mekong Delta, especially on a chilly fall day!

Also, on a hot summer day.

True. Anytime I’m in the area, really. Parking is so bad down there, so jury duty is the perfect excuse. Also Shake Shack.

Never tried Shake Shack. I always assumed it was like a 5 Guys clone of sorts. Really any place you cant order your burger cooked to spec seems like a crapshoot.

Thanks so much all my helpful Charm City friends! Luckily for me, they let us all go at 11:00 today (I guess the judges needed to start to roll out their pie crusts). So although I didn’t get to anyplace today, I’ll definitely save this link for future reference. Have a Happy Turkey Day, ‘hons!

Pitamore is good and quick if you’re into that.

Next Phaze Cafe is pretty good. Songs Chicken is cheap and fast but kind of hard to find.

My go to’s for jury duty are Mekong Delta and Shake Shack depending on my mood.

I love a good Attman’s pastrami on a Kaiser roll!

(Unfortunately not really easy walking distance to & from the courthouse in the limited break time.)

But it’s a reasonable biking or scooter distance!
