Hello, R/Baltimore,

I'm your newest lurker-turned-poster. I'll be brief, I'm going to be in town in late April of '23. I'm looking for advice for some good spots to eat, from a hole in the wall to a snooty French Maître d' who scoffs at me.

The only restaurant I have on my list is Jimmy's because I like crab cakes.

Thank you for reading this.

Prime rib for an old school steakhouse feel. Very velvet chair, 80 year old waiter type of spit.

The helmand for awesome Afghani food

La birrata is an amazing Argentinian steakhouse (with lots of non steak options)

Annabelle Lee is a cool spot with above average but not amazing food. Edgar Allen poe themed but in a tasteful way not an over the top theme park sort of way

Sally os for great cocktails and awesome food in a laid back bar atmosphere

I've never been to a south American-style steakhouse.. I wonder if the cows speak more Spanish or Portuguese.. Certainly down for some foreign culinary education. Thank you.

Obligatory Ekiben plug. Also Locust Point Steamers for crabs. Lots of good food across Baltimore.
