Used to be a sharpener in the 83 farmers market. Can’t say if they are still there

I went once recently and they were not.

The Ace in Canton does knives. No shears though, which is a bummer.

Oop. Found the info:

The Baltimore Farmers Market

The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar, located underneath the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX) at Holliday and Saratoga Streets, takes place rain or shine. 7a.m. - noon. April through December.

Pro Edge Sharpening will be at the Baltimore Farmers Market every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.

Yes, but it's just a Chef's Choice machine. If you're good with relying on that (pro: easy/fast; con: shortens your knives' lifespans), you may as well just buy the home model as it'll be a lot cheaper in the long run.

They replaced the Chef's Choice machine with a Resharp robot. It's way better than the old one

Not sure why downvoted. Can't speak for this place specifically, but if you've got an odd item you want sharpened (like the blade from a paper cutter), 'small shop with a grinding wheel' is where you want to go.

I know this is obscure but there’s a craft fair at Frederick Fairgrounds on Dec 3 and there will be a stand there with free blade sharpening

Kinda odd but the Joann Fabrics in the perring plaza shopping center always has a little ad up with some forms for knife sharpening, I’ve never looked too closely at them but I can swing by tomorrow and get more info
