At first I was like "Why do Starbucks employees need to unionize? It was an easy job when I had it 20 years ago."
And then I realized all of the ways that the company has gone all in on becoming Milk Based Fast Food: app purchases that overwhelm the physical space, drive throughs, the end of "the third place".
So good for them. Stick it to the man!

Sir/Ma’am, 20 years ago, you had to go in, wait in line, have your order made, and you went about your business. You didn’t have an app or 2 (cause you didn’t have a smartphone) to receive orders from on top of the physical line in front of you and the drive through going around the block. And it’s not just a Starbucks problem. It’s a problem with fast food in general now.

Yep. It's a whole other world there now.
The current "partners" deserve better.
