They last for years, which encourages me to buy them in 20 packs, which is a great deal. It ends up being less than $7 per trip to DC.

It should tell you based on when you purchase it. If you have a smart phone I HIGHLY recommend using the CharmPass app it’s so convenient and can buy tickets for literally ANY Service.
