In need of Emergency Dental work, recommendations?

I chipped my tooth and I'm in pain. I've been calling around and no place I've found does emergency dental work.

I was told I need a crown and build up. I don't think my insurance covers this, so extra points if you know a dentist that isn't expensive or if you can contribute to helping me pay for this. fml ugh

Dr Murphy - “the uptown dentist.” They’re great and can get you in really quick for that type of thing. I had to have an infected impacted wisdom tooth removed and they got me the next day - took 15 minutes to yank it out and send me home.

They take insurance too btw.

Root canals with crowns are expensive, even with insurance.

Try to find an endodontist that has financing available and that may take your insurance, if your insurance will cover any of it (I can't remember, but I think I was out about $1200 bucks for the root canal and crown).

I had my root canal done with these folks: https://www.marylandendodontics.com/ My tooth was fractured. Got the root canal done that same day with a temporary crown.

We are approaching a holiday weekend, so definitely get in before end of day tomorrow or you may be SOL until next Wednesday even. That pain is horrible!

As has been mentioned, pulling it is the least expensive option. Do you have dental insurance?

Dr. Lamb. Locust Point. He’s fantastic and helped me a couple of times on short notice. Once when a filling cracked and fell out on a Friday. Saved me from a weekend of discomfort.

I second Dr Lamb. I broke a tooth and he fit me in the day I called, the entire staff is lovely and his prices were very reasonable. I think he charged me $275 for bonding

Canton crossing dental got me in immediately, but of course availability varies. Just call everywhere.

I love Fell’s Point Dental, not sure if they do emergency work but I normally get fast appointments there so it’s worth a call.
