I'm here working from home trying to watch the game in the background and the stream barely plays. Tried multiple computers, multiple browsers, over wifi, over ethernet, and nothing works. FUCK THEM. I'm about to cancel all their bullshit and just go with Tmobile home internet.

Edit: After Clearing browser cache, restarting PC, and resetting router. It's now working. So either power cycling the router fixed it, even though I wasn't having network issues on any other devices. Or Comcast suddenly got their shit together. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Anyone reading this: Please go out and buy an antenna for $18. Walmart, target, Amazon has them. You get cbs abc fox and nbc. Plus a bunch of other random channels. Totally worth it for football alone

My brother told me recently he rarely watches games because he doesn't have cable. Face palm

I sent him an antenna from Walmart so he's good to go.

You don't even need to buy one in the city unless your house is super thick walled, you're super close to towers. You can cut one end off a coax cable, separate the 2 strands, and connect each wire to one end of a coat hanger bent into a U. Have done it before. Literally on my way to do this for a friend with some extra cable I have lying around.

Forget a coat hanger - you can pick up the signal witth a paperclip if you're close enough to the tower.

I'm very glad the towers are central in Baltimore. The last place I lived, the various towers were on opposite sides of the metro area, so I could never get half of the channels, even with a bigger "100 mile" roof mounted antenna.

I second this, I bought a digital antenna for $25. It works great. I get all of the local channels.

I'm going to get an outdoor antenna and mount it onto the mast of an old DirecTV dish that's on my front roof. I should be able to pull in all of the local stations easily with that.

With my indoor antennas, it's hit-or-miss whether I'll be able to pick up the channel I want.

I cut the cord with Comcast 2 months ago for many different reasons and I could not be happier. if you have a smart tv and the internet (mine is through T-Mobile)you will have access to everything you need.

Are you using one of those 5G T-Mobil wifi modems ? I am very curious about the quality of those things. They seem too good to be true!!

I have one. Switched to T-Mobile over a year ago. $50/mo, fast. Loving life.

Comcast/Xfinity is not the greatest here but their speeds beat tf outta T-Mobile 5G Home Internet's for me. I tried T5GHI for a few days and was getting less than 60MBPS download speeds whereas Xfinity was consistently around 230MBPS. Couldn't even stream Netflix films without constant buffering. YMMV. Verizon needs to bring FiOS internet here asap. Until then it's prob Xfinity for me.

Ah, that stinks, I’m in east Baltimore near Hopkins and average < 100mbps down on T-Mobile but that is enough for us to both be on videos calls or both streaming Netflix while we work.

I always have to do the workaround, which is: set the game to record through the guide then watch that. Don't know exactly why it works but it usually does. Sometimes takes a try or two tho.

My fancy-pants router can power cycle the modem whenever the internet is out. It helps
