Had a print framed at Plaza in Mount Vernon and they did a great job. It wasn’t cheap though, that’s for sure.

Believe or not Joann Fabrics does museum quality framing. They have a beautiful selection mats and frames and they frequently have discounts on framing. It’s been awhile but I had a series framed with silk mats and it was really inexpensive.

Thank you! My posters are ones my dad had from concerts in the 60s-80s. Found them when we cleaned out mom’s house pursuant to her passing late last year. He’s been gone for a decade. Never appreciated my dad’s wonderfully eclectic tastes until now. All to say that I am willing to pay for quality.

Truax Framing in Hamilton. I’m very happy with his work. I’ve used him for vintage posters and watercolors.

There is a great place right in Hampden called Davenport Imports and Arts

I provided them a pretty large un-stretched piece of art 48"x36" and they made a killer floating frame for it. Also have had them do multiple posters and some memorabilia. Prices are fair and they were pretty speedy with the work.

I've had a few antique prints framed at Fleckenstein Gallery on Keswick. They did very nice work, though it was not cheap.

We had a somewhat valuable movie poster (original Star Wars signed by George Lucas) repaired and framed at this place in Catonsville.

We were told it is the finest in the area, but it was not cheap. You needed to make an appointment.

I have had a number of things framed at JLP framing in Charles village. They have been really helpful with ideas and recommendations and everything they've done for me has been beautiful.

I’d lay out a hefty sum for that poster. I attended a premier showing (in the sticks of Virginia) of that movie with my mom. I’ll never forget how awestruck we were. Thanks for the memory and the recommendation

Wasn't ours. It was a gift from our nephew to our son. Nephew is his Godfather and a big deal in Hollywood. It fell into disrepair over the years of his childhood. We fixed it up later and sent it up to him when he grew up.
