George Peabody Library at the Peabody Institute. While in the area be sure to check out the Walter's Art Gallery as well!

And you might as well pick up a library card at the Pratt Central Branch while you're near by! 😊 It's also a beautiful building that should be seen at least once.

One of the most beautiful spots in Baltimore City. I went to a wedding reception there years ago and it was just stunning. Glad you got to experience this gem <3

I looked at that place for my wedding reception, while beautiful, there are too many restrictions due to the historic preservation of the building. For example, no red wine (in case of spills on the original flooring), very limited access for where guests are allowed to go in the library etc

Interesting. We were not allowed to go down the library aisles but the bar was set up.in a lovely gallery. I just loved the setting.

Their card catalogs look awesome. It had been so long since I had seen one.

No I am not and I am not revealing that kind of information on Reddit. I am just happy to be a new employee of the conservatory.
