Could always rent a storage space. Probably safer than getting a monthly parking pass in a garage. Could also always lend the car to a friend for them to use and park for themselves

Thanks! I’ll look into the storage units. I’m not sure about the friends because everyone I know has a car, but I hope that could work too

A local self storage facility could be an option, some offer vehicle storage.

There's also a long term vehicle storage facility near BWI airport. Bwiboatrvstorage.com but probably more pricey (and presumably safer) than an self storage facility.

This or a similar company:. https://www.lifestorage.com/storage-units/vehicle-storage/

Offers in unit or within grounds storage of vehicle. Yards are locked and gated. Monitored and insured.

You can either ask if they have additional vehicle storage insurance or ask your own car insurance company to change your policy to a Storage only policy (meaning no driving/mileage, only otherwise insuring it for damages/loss. It's usually pretty inexpensive compared to a total loss.

Hit up JE Import Performance on Moravia Park Dr. It may be more expensive than a self storage facility but it’ll be inside and secure.

I’ve seen some wild cars parked outside there on occasion. Always wondered what their deal was

They’re great guys, for real.

They helped me with an alignment a couple times and even came on a 15 min ride with me to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating an issue. Their operation is really impressive and they’re nice enough to share tours of the shop.

I highly recommend them if you have a modified car, a JDM car, or are just into cars in general.

And yeah, they have some seriously awesome builds.

Thanks! I’m only worried about my catalytic converter but I’m not too in love with cars per say … I just want it to still work haha and it’s an old Prius so it’s nothing too fancy

Either prepare it for storage or if you have a local you know and trust leave it in their care and ask them to use it or let you park it on their property. Find a private garage and pay to park it there.

Loan it to a friend who could use a car? ☺️

That’s ideal but my friends are either traveling at the same time or also have cars :,)

Try one of the long term parking apps. I think Neighbor.com is one where people rent out their own driveway/garage. Likely cheaper than a storage place.
