Was gifted an old wall clock from my grandfather - it doesn't currently work but I want to take it somewhere reputable. Also Prop Joe on the East Side is not a legit recommendation

If you are willing to make the trip, Ecker’s in Bethesda is top notch.
That's actually right by my work so it works out - will take a look
Will definitely take a look, Bethesda is out of the way for sure but if they're good I don't mind the drive.
There’s one up in Hunt Valley. Can’t recall the name. Worth checking out.
Maryland Clock and Watch Repair? Was just looking at them, they have good reviews too.
Mark Mitchell. He was on Read St Baltimore, for many years. Moved because the land lord would not fix a hole in the floor of his shop. Not sure where he is now. But he can fix it.
Good call. He still lives in the neighborhood, but not sure if he’s still taking work. Hopefully so.
He is on 500 N Charles
Mark Mitchell is the answer to the question.
Those guys were very helpful. I bought a wind up key from a vintage clock I found.
A couple people are seconding him, and looking at his work he definitely seems reputable - he has a Facebook page, will reach out to him and check his availability. Thanks for the suggestion
That’s them

I dunno what's available in the city but the clock shop in the Savage Mill comes to mind. It's called the Hands of Time. Looks like they do repair.
