Important to note, one reason these are so great is because they are the correct side of both tunnels. Canton and fells Point are also great, but you'll be paying $6 a day tolls to get to fort Meade. From Federal Hill or Latrobe, you don't need to go through the tunnel.

I would add pigtown to this list for the same reason. It's up and coming but not yet as expensive
