I heard about it Friend who read it said something about dystopia but im not a big dystopian fan

My bit of advice I would give to you is to read what you like and ignore the advice of anyone suggesting you read the "classics" or the latest New York Times Bestseller. There are millions of books out there, and it's important to read only what is of interest to you.

I read Of Mice & Men at school and it gave our whole class a similar feeling to how you felt about Animal Farm I think

High school reading lists were pretty great, I’d say if they liked Animal Farm then go for 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Metamorphosis, etc. the shorter classics.

maybe give Watership Down a try
