Considering the fact that the writer was not a teenage girl and was, in fact, a Mormon woman who had probably never tried drugs or been around any other human being who had, the horrible writing is not much of a surprise.

The author was definitely like I don't know anything about this but I've read books on It so I can write a book that is diary format

You really should read Unmask Alice. As I said in a previous comment, I wasn’t keen on the last chapter. But the rest of the book really filled in some of the info I had always wondered about.
