That's a difficult question to answer for someone else. I personally like the Victorian era writing style and specifically enjoy Dickens work, especially David Copperfield. But if you don't like that style of writing then, I would say it may be a challenge for you to get through it.

I love the book. Dickens writes about serious topics with style and humor.

Not everyone will like his work though. Good luck.

I used the audiobook to go through all the classics. It's a really great book. Dickens hasn't been this popular for this long without a reason.

Bleak House is still my fave cuz wow does that translate to today!!!

David Copperfield is one of the slowest paced books I've ever read, not that it's bad, just can be quite hard to get into if you're not used to reading classics

David Copperfield is a great book, and yes it's a long read. It's full of pathos, colorful characters, and many different subplots that rise one after another. But it's a slow-paced novel.

I enjoyed it. But I probably won’t read it again.
