Extreme unsatisfactory.

The characters were all one dimensional, the writing was cringey, trying so hard to be funny and failing spectacularly, all the tropes imaginable and not one of them written in a way that worked.

The main characters are supposed scientists but seem to think that the solution to their problems is to fake date as opposed to having ADULT conversations with their friends.

This was bad. its so overhyped, ya`ll need to stop hyping every single romance book. :D

I enjoyed this book! It was an easy & fun read I probably won't reread, but I don't expect much from any of the colorful/cute cover designed books except an easy read while I sit outside 😂

I quite liked it for a quick fun read. It’s not meant to be a deep romance. It’s far from the best smutty book I’ve read, but it’s not that bad.

I am very critical of romance books but The Love Hypothesis was my gateway book into reading 8 more romance books (without doing the meticulous research I usually do before buying books), after which I decided The Love Hypothesis is still the best-written out of all 8.

The book made me laugh, made me tear up, made me go aw and everything a romance is supposed to make you feel. It’s as good as romance books go. As usual, different strokes for different folks.

I, for one, disliked ‘People We Meet on Vacation’ by Emily Henry so much I DNFed it. That book is everything you claim TLH to be, in my opinion. But then again, everyone likes different things.

Hope you find more books you like in the future!

I couldn’t get through it. Gave it to a friend.

I couldn't get through it either. I didn't mind the writing as much as the characters themselves.

This book had an insane marketing budget behind it and it took off. Romance books do not frequently get hyped like this, maybe 1 per year. Don’t come after romance books, lol.
