I know, right? That is why I waited so long to pick up this book. Even my closest friends (who are literary trash reading nerds said "you can skip this book").

I expected this to be an abortion of a novel like "Ready Player Two" or some such nonsense.

Artemis is fine. It's not winning any awards, but I still had a good time reading it.
