Assassins apprentice by Robin Hobb is the start of a 15 ish book series.

Fantasy, and emotionally draining at times. Good stories.

Memory sorrow and thorn by Williams, also the realm of the Elderlings by Hobb- start with The Assassin's apprentice

I loved the Lightbringer-Saga by Brent Weeks. One of the well-thought-out magic systems I've read in a while.

Yeah the magic was good, but Man Brent is a bit of a clunky writer. LIghtbringer is better than assassins, and it wasn’t enough to stop me reading them all. But he’s a bit clunky.

Just started Name of the Wind a couple days ago and haven’t been able to put it down. It’s among the best fantasy novels I’ve ever read.

strongly agree but also don’t get into it if you’re looking for a finished series

I’ve been waiting for book three for over a decade now. The pain is real.

I've been waiting for a decade for Attack on Titan to conclude. The good things are worth it even if they never get finished imo

Have you read the dragonwatch series? It’s a sequel series to Fablehaven
