Just started Name of the Wind a couple days ago and haven’t been able to put it down. It’s among the best fantasy novels I’ve ever read.

Have you read the dragonwatch series? It’s a sequel series to Fablehaven

Assassins apprentice by Robin Hobb is the start of a 15 ish book series.

Fantasy, and emotionally draining at times. Good stories.

I loved the Lightbringer-Saga by Brent Weeks. One of the well-thought-out magic systems I've read in a while.
