I just read The Dark Half again, because maybe not being 13 it would have a different feel. I still loved it. Definitely one of my favorites.

I also found that book in my early teens! 😂 Now that I am 30, I like the idea of revisiting various works as part of my reflection on how my mental state has evolved.

It really is a trip, because there's no way I picked up on some of the subtle things, less of a problem with King. But I read all the Hemingway we had in the house very young, I had NO idea what they were about, but I still loved them.

I have one book by Hemingway which is The Garden of Eden, but I haven't finished it yet. I read sort of slowly these days. I might collect more Hemingway eventually, however, the next book I plan to order is going to be a memoir by the guy from Xiu Xiu. He's not charging much for it and it might already be sold out, though.
