I was under the impression that you need a prescription to get reading glasses? Or do mean the magnification style ones?

Reading glasses are the magnifying over the counter ones. No prescription needed. Someone else's were lying around my place so I tried them on a whim, and I didn't realize how big of a difference they can make!
