About 7-8 years ago I got let go of all the books I’d collected over 35 years of being alive. Because as my wife kept saying, “you’ve read these at least 3 times by now and have all of them on your kindle, why are we wasting the space on them”. And eventually I was ok fine.
And I’ve regretted it ever since. And now that we have kids I’m so ducking sad I can’t point them at all the books I loved at their age. And the kindle works for me, but not that tactile feel that got me to love reading at their age. And I’m so sad about that.
