First time on Newbury in a few months. Lots of new businesses rotating to fill old ones or empty storefronts. Excited to see what survives the year.

So how heathenistic is it to freeze a Mike's cannoli? Visiting friends up here and I know fresh is best but I could only finish half, froze the other half out of curiosity and honestly liked it even more.

As a renter, who's responsible for replacing a beeping smoke alarm battery in the staircase?

Depends on whether the staircase is within your apartment, and on the reason for the beep. It could beep because it's at the end of its service life. Smoke alarms need to be replaced every 10 years and that's on your landlord.

Is anyone going to Utopia in Seaport? Do you think it’ll be worth the $35/day? Is it like an entry-payment-required version of Boston Public Market or is more included in your ticket compared to just walking around?

This looks so cool, and I’ve never even heard about it before now. How do you find out about events like this? I feel like I’m constantly looking for stuff like this and am always amazed at how I still always manage to miss cool stuff

I kid you not… MBTA ads. Those ads really have the best smart and creating things to do around Boston. Some of it is “participate in this medical study” or “send you kid to this school” but other ads are about the Lego art exhibit or the $10 unlimited commuter rail pass or Harvard art museums.
