Yeah it’s always easiest to just get off the train then re-enter if you can’t let people pass easily.
I actually prefer doing this if my stop is coming up, that way I’m close to the exit

Yeah, this…if you cant move out the way, step outside the door, step aside and get back in after the passengers getting out are all out.
