Grillo’s pickles, Howard’s relish, Taza chocolate, cider donuts, Teddie peanut butter, cans of local craft beer like Trillium, Night Shift or Tree House. May not go together, but those are some local products.

I saw Grillo's Pickles in a FL supermarket and chuckled. I guess their distribution has increased.

Interesting! I actually moved up here from FL, lol. Didn’t realize they were available there now. They’re damn tasty, so I’m not surprised.

how does this compare to the everyday chocolate assortment?

Honestly I like the mice but would prefer an assortment for eating. You could always include some mice or penguins.

When I visit my friends in NYC, I always bring salmon bacon from Boston Smoked Fish in the Public Market. They love anything from Flour Bakery too.

Yes, and the public market in general is a good place to find gifts!

McCrea’s caramels are a crowd pleaser and founded and manufactured in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston. Genuinely some of the best caramels ever.
