Hey peeps,
Visiting the US from London for the first time for a weekend during wrestlemania weekend.
Anyone know of any bars showing wrestlemania during the weekend ? Looking for a decent spot, unsure if tons of bars show it as in the UK we typically have to go to ticketed events to see it.
Appreciate any suggestions, pretty much my first time in the US so be gentle m8
Wrestlemania isn't until April 1 and April 2. So it won't run into any issues with the NCAA tournament.
Ah you're right I had thought he said this weekend. The final 4 games are on April 1st so there still might be some conflict there but not as much as it would be for this weekend.
Thanks for this, I’m struggling to find anything on google etc, the event falls on a Saturday / Sunday night so I’m praying something will be showing it, is there a particular area that has a strip of bars etc ?

i know there is a bar in somerville that shows aew events (one of their bartenders was posting aew themed drinks last summer in the aew sub, but i can't remember the name of the bar). i would assume they show wwe stuff too, but don't know.
when i went to nyc for wrestlemania weekend back in 2019 i just googled and found some place. usually any bars that are showing it will have it on their website/socialmedia/etc. trying to get people in the door for it.
also, obligatory RIP good times. (they were a bar/arcade/tons of other stuff place that closed like a decade ago that used to show all the ppv's)
Parlor Sports employee checking in!! While we love our AEW, we have definitely shown WWE PPV’s. The NCAA final 4 games are on Saturday April 1st, so we probably couldn’t do wrestling that night. However, there is nothing on April 2nd so it is very likely we will be showing Wrestlemania that night!

yup, that's definitely the place. did some digging to find those old posts and that's it. (haven't personally been there, so no comment beyond that)
They're a great bar. They screen a lot of, if not all of, the AEW PPVs. I'm not sure that they'd play Wrestlemania. They are pretty AEW-centric when it comes to wrestling. OP could call them to find out for sure though.

What bar? I used to love going to the movies for AEW, but now the theaters that show it are pretty far away for me.

Parlor Sports. They're the best. Also good for group watching soccer, rugby, and for some reason The Bachelor.
I'd love a place that showed motogp but it's never on at any reasonable times anyway so I just watch it streaming when convenient and avoid looking at /r/motogp on race weekends.

There's a chance that Banners Bar, at the TD Garden, will have a watch party. A guy named James Stewart, who works at the Sports Hub (a sports talk radio station) has hosted watch parties for WWE events there in the past. Considering this is far and away the biggest wrestling event in the world, I am sure he will be organizing something for at least one of the nights.
Ironically thought of James too when I saw this lol. I’m sure James and the rest of those guys will be watching it at the Kowloon if they don’t go in person.

Yea I usually get emails from TD Garden when they have watch party’s for the tent pole events (Rumble/Wrestlemania/Money in the Bank/SummerSlam/Survivor Series)

He's still around, he works for AEW (Another wrestling company that airs on TBS).
I believe the show that James Stewart is on currently runs 10a-2p weekdays. Recommend calling in and asking. 617-779-0985

It’s always hilarious when people call in to talk wrestling and Felger gets annoyed.
Places that do it are usually going to be low-key about it because they're probably not going through the commercial cable PPV package or the proper streaming license, so they do risk getting in trouble if WWE/NBC Universal want to be dicks about it
There are only a handful of bars that show the UFC fights in Boston. But my guess, is if they show the UFC PPV, they would be the most likely to show Wrestlemania. Maybe try asking the Greatest Bar via email or Facebook, they usually have the UFC PPVS.
Also, will you be going to Money in the Bank? It's nice to see WWE spread around their big shows. Clash at the Castle in Wales last year. Elimination Chamber in Montreal last month. They're going Backlash in Puerto Rico. Money in the Bank in London.
Tickets were gone in a flash, tried to get some but they were selling for £800… with a few hundred quid more I could make and do a mania trip to the US, no way I’m paying that much for a B tier PPV, it’ll be great because its London but there’s no way I’m paying that much, ridiculous af, I was looking at AEW dynamite tickets in New Jersey as we’re heading to New York, 40 dollars mate.
Try Versus, an arcade bar down on Province Street, somewhat near the Common. Maybe Arcade out in Cambridge? Give them a ring.
There was one in JP, but it just shut down 25 years ago.
TD Garden or Kowloon are your best bets.
