It only runs every half hour, and even with the current slow zone situation the ferry is slower than taking the Blue Line from Maverick to Aquarium. And that's not even factoring in the walk from Maverick Square to the dock.
That’s the year round one with red and blue coloring that goes to other places not the Lewis to Long Wharf. They share the same dock, different boats/companies. It’s the boat called “Rookie” run by Boston Harbor Cruises. Sometimes they use different boats but mostly it’s “Rookie”. That’s the one on the MBTA contract. It’s perfect if you work downtown or have a bike or electric scooter to get to from the docks quickly. I brought an electric bike last spring one of the best purchases I’ve ever made as it turned commuting from a dull boring experience to something that I actually look forward too on nice days. There’s electric scooters that aren’t too pricey as I understand E-Bikes aren’t cheap but they are durable. I think we’ll see rebates on them at some point it’s already been proposed federally and some states already have rebates up the 1800 I think.
