I get the corruption/nepotism/management is incompetent/still paying off the big dig. The whole “It’s terrible, never going to get better” it’s self defeating. Yes, I completely agree biking, ride-sharing, busing and other alternatives are great. We have this whole infrastructure that’s decaying and it’s sad. When people can’t reliably make it to work on time, everything breaks. These problems lead to deeply human issues where people can’t feed their families, make rent, or pay for medicine.

Is it that the wealthy/decision makers just don’t care? Was the power structure not clearly exhibited in COVID lockdowns on how important blue collar workers are?

We’re in a gradual decay and we’re not seeing it get better.

Recently a protest was announced, however it was quickly cancelled. I’m not saying we need to act like the French right now, but something needs to happen to make a change.

What can I/we do to make it better? We’re some of the smartest people in the country, let’s fix this
