Ever since 2020 tipping has gotten way out of control! It is the way employers get away with not paying their employees a living wage, which is frustrating to both employees and customers as prices everywhere are going up. Because the hotel has stated that it expects you to tip on their breakfast buffet, they can get away with paying their waitstaff as little as $6.15 per hour. I would not stay at that hotel again, and I would tell them why.
