LOST AND FOUND

Has anyone ever gotten anything back from MBTA lost and found?

I literally (as in ten minutes ago) left my keys on green line B moving inbound past Copley. Wouldn't be a big deal-except my steel keychain is extremely sentimental, one of a kind, and impossible to replace. If you're on this line, please take a look for me. 50 dollar reward- this item is really special to me.

Surprisingly, yes. But also no. It largely depends on who (if anyone) finds it first and what they decide to do with it.

 

Call the number on their website for the Green Line lost & found a couple of times over the next few days - it might take some time for the train to finish its run, the item to be noticed, and make its way in to the lost & found, especially over the weekend. It might not be until the trains are given a once-over cleaning after hours unless someone turns it in.

If they don’t have it by the end of Monday though it’s as good as gone, unless someone finds it independently and somehow gets it back to you - who knows, maybe Reddit will come through.

It's a brass ring with a steel loop. One house key, one bike lock key, one Gerber shard tool. Hoping for a miracle on this one.

I got my phone back once. Had to go to Mbta hell to get it but they had it no problem.

I dropped my wallet somewhere at the park street station. Called the mbta lost and found and surprisingly they had it . Picked it from the riverside stop .

Yes I have. I think it would depend if someone actually hands it over to MBTA staff but once I called and confirmed that they had my item they were very helpful in getting it back to me. Hopefully someone will hand your keys in!!
