The Bruins are playing the Coyotes tonight, maybe that’s why?
Those coyotes are not so healthy
Yeah. Maybe???
Ive seen a coyote recently while driving at night I'm surprised they're in Boston but then again they do whatever they want
They’re in every single city in America.
Except Hawaii. They haven't managed to swim that far, yet.
Hahahaa! I grew up in the woods. And the only coyote sightings I’ve ever heard about are in Boston.
Yeah there are lots of coyote around Neponset. They are friendly. I see them all the time during my early AM runs, especially out by Marina Bay/Squantum. They do not come when called though, they just run away 😭
Have any of them ever made eye contact with you for an extended period? (Similar to a squirrel frozen on a tree?) Or do they immediately scamper away once they catch sight of you
Usually scamper right away
Maybe they’re just embarrassed they didn’t pay you any coins.
I’m not getting the reference haha is this a Wiley Coyote thing?
Charon was the dude in Greek mythology that transported souls across the River Styx, right? And you had to pay him a coin in order for him to do that (according to legend). That's why ancient Greeks were sometimes buried with coins - so they’d have something to give him for their journey. That’s what I thought your username was referencing haha.
Wow that totally went over my head haha I was focused on the coyote part. Yes about the Greek mythology part. Always thought it was a cool myth about a soul’s last journey :-)
I have nothing to a add about the coyote but I saw your post about your dog not liking the vet and I just wanted to say I hope it's going better ):
And also that if anything the coyote should be the scared one lol. Coyotes like the roam at night and early in the morning I think, that's the only time I've seen them. Never had any problems with them, just don't be leaving small pets or kids outside and they don't bother anyone.
Coyotes aren't nocturnal, so it's normal to see them at any time.
They use the train tracks to get around so they go damn near everywhere.
