Whole foods carries some really fancy/expensive local stuff that comes in old-school glass milk bottles, but I can't confirm the ingredients. Worth a look though.

The brand in the glass bottles is Crescent Ridge and it's delicious (and local). No corn syrup.

High Lawn Farm is in the Berkshires but Whole Foods carries their products. Excellent organic milk and the best cream around, and their eggnog is really good too.

Their cream is SOOO good. The milk is good too I just wish it didn’t spoil on the quicker side. Also if anyone reading is ever out that way yes you can visit, yes they have ice cream, butter and cheese for sale, and YES they let you pet the adorable baby cows 🥺

Shaw Farm in Dracut (carried at Wilson Farms in Lexington and other high-end local places (not whole foods...).

I have done the research and consumed countless grams of fat and calories to answer this question.

Crescent Ridge Dairy! They have a stall at Boston Public Market, but you can also find their eggnog at Whole Foods. It is RICH. Their farm is in Sharon.

Hornstra Farms in Norwell makes some good homemade egg nog.

They use flavoring, preservatives and high fructose corn syrup now. Its basically just Hood egg nog in a fancy glass bottle sadly.

You probably have to be a member but the Walden Meats eggnog is easily the best I've ever tried.

Check the butcher shop, you might be able to get it there.

Alternatively you can make your own eggnog, especially ideal if you plan to make it boozy. It’s a fun project and not super difficult. Bonus points if you leave the eggs uncooked.

I know it’s not what the OP asked for, but making your own is the right answer. I absolutely love making Egg Nog and am usually hawking it well into February to my friends and family*.

Egg Nog is easy to make and endlessly adaptable to different spirits. Despite what you may hear, raw eggs are perfectly safe if the proper ratios are used and you wait a bit prior to serving, which also helps with flavor.

/u/2amfeelslikesummer if you need an egg nog consultant I would love to bore you to death on the subject and walk you through it. It’s worth it!

Last year Walden Meats made an Egg Nog that was surprisingly good. It doesn’t have emulsifiers so you really need to shake it a lot before enjoying!

*Egg Nog does actually get better with age until it doesn’t.

Eggnog is just 4 dirt-cheap ingredients, just make it yourself. Storebought eggnog tastes far inferior while being every bit as bad for you. Plus you're paying like $5 for a bottle that contains 2 egg yolks, 200g sugar, 500mL milk and a bit of nutmeg.
